Tiny beetles slowly climbing walls or dead at windowsills. They are drawn to windows and typically try to find their way outside. We have seen them flying around lamps in the evening in our basement family room. After the larvae pupate and the adult beetles emerge in early spring they are attracted to light in an attempt to get outside to mate.

I have these small brownish hard shell winged bugs all over my window sill and sliding door track.
